Direct Primary Care offers a patient-focused approach to healthcare by eliminating insurance middlemen and allowing for more affordable, comprehensive care. Patients pay a fixed fee directly to their physician, enabling longer and more personalized visits, flexible scheduling, and the convenience of remote consultations. However, it is important to note that Direct Primary Care is not a substitute for insurance, as patients are advised to have coverage for emergencies and major medical expenses. Overall, this model presents a compelling option for those seeking accessible, high-quality primary care services.

While we do not participate and are not in network with any insurance companies, most insurance companies actually work well with DPC. DPC Physicians can still order labs, imaging/procedures or consults to be covered by your insurance.

We do not have a “family plan”, however, we do have discounts available in both our Family Medicine and Pediatric Memberships.
-
Lab and Imaging facilities will bill your insurance, however, if you are uninsured or are on a high-deductible plan, you have options. We work with facilities that offer cash discounts for cash-paying members.
-
A DPC membership is not insurance. While DPC memberships can help reduce out-of-pocket costs and provide more accessible care, having insurance is still important for coverage of additional medical services, specialist care, and emergencies that may not be covered by the membership. It is recommended to have both a DPC membership and insurance for comprehensive healthcare coverage.
